Silver Airways adding 40 percent more Florida flights
Starting November 6, regional carrier Silver Airways will ramp up capacity by adding almost 40% more flights in Florida.
The Fort Lauderdale-based airline will enhance frequencies to key Florida destinations with up to 560 weekly flights to 10 cities.
Additional direct and connecting services will be launched to and from Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Orlando, Fort Myers, Tampa, Pensacola and Tallahassee.
The improved schedule out of its Fort Lauderdale hub includes extra flights to Tampa and Key West and an increase from three to five flights per day to Orlando.
Announcing the schedule changes, Silver CEO Sami Teittinen said: "We look forward to even further expanding our intra-Florida footprint and giving our customers even more travel options with greater frequencies between key destinations throughout the Sunshine State."
Silver also operates nonstop to seven destinations in the Bahamas including Freeport, Bimini and Marsh Harbour.
