Silver Airways rolls out mobile check-in
Florida-based regional carrier Silver Airways has rolled out mobile check-in and mobile boarding passes.
In addition to all its Florida airports including Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Key West, Orlando, Pensacola and Tallahassee, the service is also available at Washington Dulles.
The mobile check-in feature also enables customers to access flight status updates.
Silver customers can visit silverairways.com using mobile devices and select the ‘check-in’ feature by entering a confirmation code and name and a paperless boarding pass will be issued by email.
Once at the departure airport, customers need only scan the barcode at security check points and boarding gates.
The service is compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile platforms, or any browser based smartphone.
Silver Airways says it has the most extensive route network within Florida and operates more flights between Florida and the Bahamas than any other airline.
The airline operates an average of 130 daily flights to 25 destinations.
