Silverjet launches agent training programme
Silverjet has launched an online training programme for travel agents.
Called the Silverjet Academy, the site features four modules with multiple choice questions covering the background of Silverjet, the service on the ground and in the air, airfares and the airline’s dedicated facilities at London Luton and New York Newark airports.
Users can work through the modules at their own pace, with the option to save the information and return again at a later date.
Questions on the airline’s newest route to Dubai will be added in phase two.
Those who achieve a 100 per cent pass rate will be rewarded with a certificate and will be eligible to apply for places on Silverjet’s familiarisation trips.
To celebrate the launch, the airline will enter all agents who complete the programme into a prize draw for a pair of Silverjet tickets to New York or Dubai.
Sales and marketing director Katherine Gershon said: “We recognise that as a relatively new airline it is very important for us to educate and support the travel trade as they talk to their customers about our service.
“The Silverjet Academy has been developed with assistance from members of the travel trade as well as our expert sales team.”
