Silversea sailing option for Hebridean passengers

Silversea Cruises is offering an additional discount to people booked with Hebridean International Cruises but not able to travel due to the sale of a ship.

Passengers booked on Hebridean Spirit’s cancelled cruises will receive an additional 10% introductory saving on most 2009 or 2010 Silversea voyages,

This can be combined with existing savings of up to 40%, the company said.

The special agreement also extends to Silversea’s expedition ship, Prince Albert II and new vessel Silver Spirit, launched in December.

Hebridean managing director Mike Deegan said: “We know our Guests are extremely disappointed about the sale of Hebridean Spirit however with the option of either transferring to the Hebridean Princess or joining a Silversea cruise we hope they will be able to find an alternative holiday.”

Silversea president and CEO Amerigo Perasso said: “Silversea and Hebridean have always had a close relationship and we are pleased to be able to help their most loyal guests.

“There is a very strong synergy with the two brands – uncompromising service levels, exquisite dining, intimate explorations and uniquely enriching cultural experiences.

“Furthermore the guest profile is almost identical – discerning, well travelled and international”.
