Ski Club of Great Britain website hits 1m mark
More than one million unique visitors have been attracted to the Ski Club of Great Britain website in a year for the first time in its history.
The total of unique users was 1,021,469 from May 2004 to April 2005. The website’s visitor figures were audited by ABC Electronic in January, giving more than 270,000 unique visitors looking at over 4.3 million pages that month.
The www.skiclub.co.uk snow sports information website, established a decade ago, has been given a new look for this winter to make it easier to navigate.
Information includes up to date snow sports news, snow reports, holidays, advice, resort guides and ski insurance. www.skiclub.co.uk either provides or links to all the elements needed before and during a snow sports holiday.
Ski Club of Great Britain new media manager Laura Chamberlain said “Skiclub.co.uk has been up and running for ten years and has gone from strength to strength.
“We are not surprised we have broken the one million unique annual users barrier, but at the same time, we are delighted. With a new look to our home page and a facility to search, we hope that even more skiers and boarders will visit the website and enjoy the benefits it has to offer.”
