Ski Max first to include skiing DVD
Ski Max, the snow holiday specialist, is the first to include a DVD
(attached to the front cover) with its comprehensive line-up of Southern
Hemisphere alpine resorts.
In partnership with the Snow Show team, who produce a 13 week national
series aired on Channel 9 and WIN, Ski Max has once again shown why it is a
leader in the very competitive winter holiday market.
William Kernot, the MD of Ski Max, said, “Our customers can gain first-hand
knowledge of a mountain they may be interested in going to, with all the New
Zealand ski areas in our new Southern Hemisphere Winter 2007 season
collection are included (plus some spectacular heli-ski footage with Alpine
Guides who have access to some mind-boggling terrain) on a compilation of The Snow Show segments are seen by more than three million viewers
Australia-wide each winter.
The DVD is packed with suggestions on where to go in New Zealand and
the show’s presenters also give some inside information on two very popular
Australian ski resorts, Perisher Blue and Hotham.
“We can now provide, from a skiers¹ perspective, an insight into why the
snow-covered slopes near Queenstown ( the Southern Hemisphere’s ultimate ski
town) and Wanaka are attracting an increasing number of skiers and borders
from Australia.
“It is the first time our New Zealand, Australian and South American ski
holiday products are together in one brochure. This is the most
comprehensive line-up of value-for-money accommodation options our team has
pulled together.
“Combined with numerous airline options (and car hire with Europcar) a New
Zealand ski holiday will be, particularly Queenstown where we now have many
more quality apartments, a bargain.”
“We also offer a large array of snow holidays to our own big five alpine
resorts, Perisher Blue, Thredbo, Falls Creek, Hotham and Mt Buller.”
“Families are already snapping up apartments at those ski areas who invest
big dollars in snowmaking and state-of-the-art grooming machines.”
