Ski show attracts record number of exhibitors from France and Italy
International Ski Travel Market has attracted a record number of exhibitors from France and Italy after introducing a new rate for groups.
The event, which will take place in Cortina from March 12 to 14, will also showcase new products available to UK buyers.
Organisers said exhibitors from resorts such as Courchevel and Val d"Isere in France had made the most of the new pricing strategy, co-ordinating multiple suppliers to exhibit at the event and bringing along private properties to strengthen their presence.
ISTM director Luke Boulton said: "We want to develop our exhibitor and supplier base and in turn ensure ISTM continues to provide a variety of product for our hosted buyers.
"By creating promotional rates for groups, we managed to find a way to do this whilst retaining the integrity of the event and giving our exhibitors a better opportunity to showcase their product and make a greater impact on the buyers."
