Small, luxury hotels gaining in popularity
Small Luxury Hotels of the World reported steady growth this year with a consistent 12% increase in revenue compared to last year.
The luxury brand says it now has over 350 hotels in nearly 60 countries around the world.
Reservation and room nights have grown about 10%.
The average room rate has risen to $317 a night.
“Although Americans remain the largest sector of the brand’s customer base with over 60% of the total guests, travelers from other source countries are increasingly rapidly,” the company says in a news release.
