Smart Destinations Hires New CMO
Smart Destinations , the leading provider of multi-attraction passes designed to save travelers time and money, today announced the appointment of Cindy Starr as Chief Marketing Officer. With more than 20 years of marketing experience, Ms. Starr will determine and oversee the execution of the Company’s marketing and eCommerce strategy.
Ms. Starr brings extensive senior marketing experience with leading consumer brands to the position, including Comcast, Behr Paint, Häagen-Dazs, Visa and more. Prior to joining Smart Destinations, Ms. Starr served as the Executive Vice President, Managing Director of One to One Interactive, a leading digital marketing services company. In this role, she led the interactive agency in delivering strategies and marketing programs focused on driving acquisition and retention results for clients through the use of digital and social media. Previously, Ms. Starr was the Vice President of Marketing at Digitas LLC where she managed the agency’s relationship with The Home Depot and was responsible for direct marketing, cross-channel customer relationship management and media outreach.
At Smart Destinations, Ms. Starr will be responsible for all marketing initiatives designed to accelerate the Company’s growth through digital channels, industry partnerships and point-of-sale opportunities. She will also oversee the Company’s brand management and media relations programs, lead the identification of new marketing channels and expand the Company’s mobile presence as a sales and product delivery platform.
