SNOW UPDATE: Latest airport news

Most airports across the UK have re-opened today but Doncaster’s Robin Hood Airport will remain closed until Sunday morning.
Southampton Airport was the latest to re-open following an extensive ice clearing programme, but the airport warned of continued flight disruptions.
Robin Hood Doncaster airport said ongoing adverse weather conditions meant it could not reopen until 10am on December 5. Passengers due to fly over the next couple of days are advised to contact their airline or tour operator.
Other airports that have re-opened are warning passengers that it could be a few days before flights are back to normal as aircraft and crew were displaced by the bad weather.

Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for the latest information before travelling to airports.
Gatwick Airport reopened this morning but urged passengers to check their flights were operating before travelling to the airport. On Friday 15 flights were moved to Stansted.
The Gatwick Express train from central London remains suspended and there is some disruption on other rail services and roads to the airport.
Heathrow remained open throughout the bad weather, but it is warning passengers of possible ongoing cancellations and delays caused by disruption at other UK and European airports. On Friday, at least 47 arrivals and 68 arrivals were cancelled. Most were short-haul.
London Stansted is now fully operational and there are no cancellations at the moment. Some Gatwick-based airlines have transferred flights there.
Edinburgh Airport is open though there are some delays and cancellations. Glasgow Airport is open but 15 flights were cancelled on Friday and some flights are delayed. Aberdeen is open, but suffering some delays.
Humberside Airport has reopened but all KLM flights to Amsterdam have been cancelled until Saturday morning.
Newcastle Airport and Belfast Airport are reporting some disruption and warning passengers to be prepared for changes to scheduled arrivals and departures.
