Southwest inks EVA Air interline partnership
Southwest Airlines has launched another new airline partnership to boost Asia connectivity.
It announced the start of new agreement with Taiwan-based EVA Air.
Beginning August 25, 2025, Southwest customers can book and fly transpacific itineraries via EVA Air through in Los Angeles, San Francisco Seattle and Chicago O’Hare.
EVA Air passengers will be able to connect at these hubs to other U.S. cities on a single reservation via Southwest’s domestic network.
The interline agreement enable travellers to make a single flight booking and check bags through to the final destination.
EVA Air offers flights from Taipei Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan to the US, Europe and other destinations across Asia in Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong and elsewhere.
The interline arrangement doesn’t include a reciprocal rewards arrangement between the airlines.
Southwest recently unveiled a similar partnership with China Airlines.
