Sovereign aims to boost online bookings value
An online booking system powered by leisure travel technology supplier Multicom’s FindandBook technology has been added to Sovereign’s website.
The First Choice premium brand has integrated FindandBook functionality behind its website to increase the value of online bookings.
The website now enables consumers to upgrade reservations at all stages of the booking process, from hotel rooms to flight add-ons.
The deal will enable Sovereign to maximise yield from holidays sold through the www.sovereign.com website and allow the operator to prioritise which content is pushed to the customer at any moment in the search process, according to Multicom.
The technology firm’s managing director Rob Howell said: “Our focus is not only to allow agents, operators and online brands to sell product dynamically through our creation of a leisure GDS, but also to give our customers the opportunity to expand their markets and maximise margins.”
