American Airlines an official sponsor of America250 celebration
American Airlines will put its patriotism on show this year as official sponsor and partner for America250 nationwide celebrations.
America250 is the national organization tasked by Congress to lead celebrations.
The partnership adds to the celebration as the airline marks comes its own centennial year in 2026.
As part of the partnership, American will paint two aircraft in the official America250 livery.
In addition, American will serve as the Official Airline of America Innovates, which highlights the creativity and progress in the United States over the past 250 years.
“Our history is deeply intertwined with the country’s own story. For a century, our team members have helped move America forward, carrying families, service members, innovators and dreamers on their journeys,” said Caroline Clayton, Chief Marketing Officer at American.
“Partnering with America250 is a meaningful way to honor that legacy.”
The airline serves more than 600,000 customers every day equating to over 200 million passengers per year.
“American Airlines has spent 100 years connecting our nation and showcasing the spirit of innovation that defines the United States,” said Rosie Rios, Chair of America250.
American joins other America250 partners, including Walmart, Coca-Cola and Kraft Heinz.
Additional details about the American Airlines-America250 partnership and events will be announced in the coming months.
