Spanish LHG opens first property in France with Líbere Paris Haussmann

Spanish hospitality operator Líbere Hospitality Group (LHG) has opened its first operational asset in France with the launch of Líbere Paris Haussmann, located in the heart of Paris‘ 8th district.

The opening marks a significant milestone in the company’s European expansion strategy and strengthens its presence in one of Europe’s most important urban accommodation markets.

Located opposite Printemps Haussmann and within walking distance of Saint-Lazare Station and the Madeleine Church, the property occupies a prime position in the French capital.

Built around 1850, the property reflects the elegance of traditional Parisian architecture, featuring a classic street-facing façade, load-bearing masonry construction, and an interior courtyard that provides natural light throughout the building.

Owned by Redblue Real Estate, the asset currently offers 12 accommodation units with capacity for up to 50 guests. The mix includes six studio apartments and six one- to four-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 32 square meters to 196 square meters, catering to both short-term visitors and extended-stay guests.

A further renovation phase is scheduled for February 2027, increasing the building’s total capacity to 19 units.

Paris Market Undergoing Transformation

Líbere Paris Haussmann is fully operated through LHG’s proprietary technology platform, the same infrastructure currently managing more than 1,100 units across six European countries.

Revenue management, distribution, guest access, and customer service are all centralized within a single technology ecosystem. According to the company, this approach optimizes operating costs while maintaining consistent service quality across major European urban markets.

Paris is not an easy market, and that is precisely what makes it relevant for us,” said Antón de la Rica, Co-CEO of Líbere Hospitality Group. “Our ambition is to demonstrate that operational efficiency, a premium guest experience, and profitability can coexist. The French capital is an excellent showcase for our model, which has already proven successful in several European markets.”

LHG said Paris combines many of the characteristics that make it attractive for flexible urban accommodation, including strong international demand, a dynamic business environment, and an evolving regulatory framework that is gradually reducing the supply of non-professional short-term rentals.

The Le Meur law, which came into force in 2025, limits the short-term rental of primary residences to 90 nights per year. The legislation is expected to favor professional operators that can meet increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.

The gradual strengthening of France’s regulatory framework is helping create a more structured urban accommodation market,” added de la Rica.“Operators capable of adapting to this new reality have a genuine opportunity. We are in Paris because we believe our model is ready to thrive in this environment.”

LHG’s arrival in France reflects the group’s broader strategy of expanding across major European cities where demand for flexible, technology-enabled accommodation solutions continues to grow.
