SpiceJet inks Emirates codeshare partnership
SpiceJet has signed its first codeshare agreement offering customers more options for travel to the Gulf and beyond.
It inked a codeshare agreement with Emirates which starts to takes effect later this year.
It will include SpiceJet operated routes between Dubai and Amritsar, Calicut, Mangalore, Madurai, Jaipur and Pune, as well as routes both carriers serve to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Cochin and Delhi.
Emirates’ customers can fly to India and connect onto SpiceJet’s domestic routes.
"We are very pleased to partner with Emirates for this new codeshare agreement which will offer a seamless travel experience and the widest possible travel options," said SpiceJet chairman and managing director, Ajay Singh.
SpiceJet currently operates 172 domestic routes.
