St. Lucia offers specialist program

Friday, 21 Feb, 2004 0

The St. Lucia Specialist program within the US started earlier this month with the Travel Institute (formerly the Institute of Certified Travel Agents). St. Lucia is the first Caribbean Island to offer a specific Caribbean destination specialist program with the Travel Institute, according to the St. Lucia Tourist board. Over the next three years, the board will offer a number of incentives to travel agents who have been qualified as specialists through the program. The specialist training includes an education program that culminates in a FAM trip to St. Lucia. Interested agents can contact [email protected], or call 800-542-4282, ext. 152.
