St Pancras International gets passenger thumbs up
Eurostar’s new London terminal has won over the travelling public, according to a poll.
An independent customer survey of 260 people found that 93% of those interviewed said they were at least “satisfied†with the station while more than half (54%) were “very satisfiedâ€.
Eighty one per cent said St Pancras International had “met or exceeded†expectations. No one said they were “disappointedâ€.
More than a quarter of the people visiting the station said they were there to shop, meet friends or simply coming to see the station.
The station’s marketing manager Dominique Didinal said: “The experience that our visitors enjoy at St Pancras International is absolutely paramount in terms of our success as a ‘Destination Station’. We are creating an attractive place to meet whether you are getting on a train or not.
“While simply being ‘satisfied’ is never enough, we are, of course, delighted with these results.
“The station never stands still – in fact these findings come as we open more shops and cafes at St Pancras International and our cultural programme has been launched with a free public exhibition of contemporary photographic portraiture.â€
