STA renews contract with Exclusively Hotels
STA has signed a three-year extension to the current contract with Exclusively Hotels for the online agency to be its preferred global hotel supplier.
After two years’ successful partnership with Exclusively Hotels, STA, the world’s largest travel company for students and young people, has elected to extend the contract for a further three years. Exclusively Hotels will continue to provide STA agents with access to over 57,000 hotels in over 7,500 destinations worldwide. Exclusively Hotel’s competitive prices, instant booking confirmation and straightforward booking system have proved a winning combination for STA.
Recent statistics released by the United Nations World Tourism Organisation and the World Youth & Student Educational Travel Confederation have identified youth travel as the industry’s fastest growing sector, with travellers aged 16-24 representing more than 20% of all international visitors. Charles Martin, Exclusively Hotels Product Manager said, “After a successful two-year partnership we are pleased that STA, the world’s largest youth travel agency, has chosen to continue to work with Exclusively Hotels in this expanding market. This agreement reflects STA’s confidence that we can continue to develop our products and services to meet the demands of a growing market and we look forward to working with STA to help them maintain their position as global market leader.”
Vanessa Lenssen, Global Land Product, Managing Director, STA Worldwide said, “The Exclusively Hotels system is easy to use, and doesn’t require the massive amounts of inputting that compromises our agents’ productivity. We chose the system because of the depth and breadth of its product range, as well as the ease of use, guaranteed availability and simple pricing.”
