Star pushes ahead with Manila Bay resort
SINGAPORE – Star Cruises has confirmed that it is moving ahead with the development of an integrated leisure and gaming complex in the Philippines.
The application for a provisional licence by Travellers International Hotel Group has been approved by the Philippine Amusement Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
The provisional licence will allow Travellers to participate in the development of the Bagong Nayong Pilipino Manila Bay Tourism City development that is part of a larger integrated tourism project envisioned by PAGCOR.
At this stage, both Star Cruises and Alliance Global Group (AGI), the parent company of Travellers, are in the process of sorting out nother conditions, including the conduct of due diligence and the negotiation of a definitive legal agreement.
