Friday, 15 Aug, 2025 0

American Airlines is teaming up with Taiwan based Starlux Airlines to streamline one-stop international travel.

The pact between the carriers will enable Starlux travelers to book through tickets to one of up to 250 destinations in North America.

Through ticketing will be available to major cities like New York, Boston, Chicago, and Miami.

It includes one-time baggage check to the final destination.

Once Starlux launches its upcoming nonstop flights from Taipei to Phoenix, AZ the partnership will ramp up further.

Phoenix is a major Southwest focus city for AA.

The airline launches transpacific service to Phoenix on January 15, 2026.

Starlux will fly new Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the route.

From March 2026, Starlux’ initial three flights a week service increases to four a week.
