Startup Canada Jetlines receives clearance to launch flights
Transport Canada gave the green light to airline startup Canada Jetlines to finally launch commercial flights.
It received its Air Operating Certificate (AOC), and will launch flights on August 29.
Its flying base will be Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The airline says it will offer ‘value-focused’ leisure flights with a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.
It plans domestic services as well as flights to the US, Mexico and the Caribbean.
