Starwood expands Vietnam footprint with Sheraton Danang deal
Starwood Hotels & Resorts is expanding in Vietnam with the signing of the Sheraton Danang Resort beachfront hotel on the Central Coast.
Slated to open in 2018, the hotel will have 250 guestrooms, two ballrooms and five meeting rooms, fitness centre, spa and signature restaurant.
"We are excited to introduce the Sheraton brand in Danang, considered one of Vietnam’s most popular vacation spots and the gateway to Vietnam’s central region," said Lothar Pehl, senior VP, operations, for Starwood Asia Pacific.
Starwood currently operates four hotels in Vietnam for its Sheraton and Le Meridien brands.
The new hotel will join Four Points by Sheraton Danang which is due to open in July 2017.
