Starwood introduces new booking option for small meetings

Monday, 19 May, 2005 0

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has deployed new online meeting space booking capabilities for small, single-day meetings at 21 properties in Atlanta, Boston and Florida.

The new service, “Meetings in a Moment,” enables buyers to purchase space, food and beverages, and audiovisual services for meetings of up to 25 attendees.

The company plans to implement the service at more than 60 other US and Canadian locations this year.

At the Starwood Web site, users can reserve online and receive confirmation. In addition, Starwood says a representative of the hotel will contact the meeting buyer within one business day.
