Starwood offers free weekend stays
SINGAPORE – Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has launched SPG Free Weekends in a bid to stimulate business for its global portfolio of more than 875 hotels – including top tier brands, Westin, Sheraton, Aloft and St. Regis.
Existing and new members of the Starwood Preferred Guest programme (SPG) who stay on two separate occasions at any of Starwood’s hotels between May 1 and July 31, 2009 can earn one free weekend night (Friday, Saturday or Sunday).
There are no limits to the number of free weekend nights that can be earned, and earned nights can be combined to make a longer weekend stay.
The nights are redeemable without blackout dates through the end of September.
In Asia/Pacific, only two hotels are not part of the SPG promotion – the W Maldives and the recently opened St Regis Bali.
More about the promotion at spg.com/freeweekends.
Registration begins tomorrow, April 17.
