Staybridge trying to stay at home
Staybridge Suites, the upscale extended-stay hotel brand of InterContinental, introduced their outdoor living room concept.
“It’s yet another way the brand is encouraging guest interaction and fostering a sense of residential community among long-stay guests,” says the chain.
The new concept features a place where guests can relax and interact alfresco surrounded by amenities such as stacked-stone fireplaces and high-definition televisions.
The concept will be introduced when the Staybridge Suites Montgomery – EastChase, Ala., opens next spring.
“At Staybridge Suites, we highly encourage guest interaction since our guests stay with us for weeks and months at a time. Guests feel a sense of community throughout the hotel, especially in our great room lobby in front of the fireplace,’ said Robert Radomski, vice president, Brand Management, Extended-Stay Brands, IHG. He added:
“Recently we launched a gathering table similar to that of a residential kitchen island where guests can comfortably interact during breakfast and evening Sundowner receptions,’ he added.
