Stena Line names new CEO
Carl-Johan Hagman has been promoted to CEO of Stena Line, starting on January 1.
Hagman, 46, is currently responsible for all shipping operations in the Stena Group and will retain that role.
He replaces Gunnar Blomdahl, who took over as Stena Line’s CEO in 2003.
"I have been the chief executive officer for 10 years and it is time for a new CEO to take over and continue the development of Stena Line," said Blomdahl.
"I will now continue in the Stena Sphere, including positions on the boards of the Ballingsl-¶v Group, Stena Recycling and Stena Technoworld."
As a consequence of the changes, Carl-Johan Hagman will relinquish the role as chairman for Stena Line and Dan Sten Olsson will once again take on this role.
