Winds of 70 mph have brought chaos to parts of southern and southwest England with ‘danger to life’ amber warnings in place.

Great Western Railway said no trains will run until at least midday on several lines such as Salisbury-Southampton and Reading-Gatwick Airport.
Over 100 flights are grounded across the country.
Bristol and Exeter Airports have cancelled services and BA scrapped dozens of flights, including 10 services to Jersey.
It includes several services to Europe.

KLM reported dozens of flight cancellations to and from Amsterdam.
