Strike causes heavy disruption for Air France
Air France has cancelled half of its long-haul flights and many of its other services today (Thursday) due to strike action by its staff.
Pilots, cabin crew and ground staff are walking out for 24 hours in a dispute over pay.
The airline said it expects to operate only 50% of long-haul flights, 75% of medium-haul and 85% of short-haul departures.
It also warned that to ensure the maximum number of flights with reduced crew, it may have to limit the number of passengers on board some flights, meaning it cannot honour all bookings.
Affected passengers can rebook at no extra cost.
Air France flights operated by the aircraft of any other airline, including HOP!, will not be affected.
