Students land MyTravel rep jobs
Two students on a Holiday Resort Representative course have been recruited by MyTravel.
Lewisham College students Shirrel Harris and Nicole Goodensimms are looking forward to putting their new skills into practise in Spain this summer.
They said the course had given them a good understanding of the world of travel and the skills to confidently apply for a resort representative job.
The college’s programme area leader for leisure, travel and tourism Pat Palmer said: “Being able to work closely with a major tour operator has given the students real hope of achieving their dreams.”
A new travel course for students looking for a route into the airline industry -Preparation for Air Cabin Crew – starts this month on February 20. The Level 2 certificate will run for 16 weeks, two days a week. It covers cabin crew working, customer service, the airline industry and health and safety.
