Sumo, sushi and samurai? This must be a Supertour
The home of sushi and samurai awaits Australian agents during this year’s Globus family of brands’ Supertour.
In August, 20 top-selling Australian agents will spend 10 days exploring Japan as a reward for sales achievements, which have resulted in increased bookings for the Globus family of brands during the current season.
Among the experiences on offer during the trip will be a Japanese cooking class, tea ceremony, sake tasting and karaoke – as well as a special visit to a sumo wrestling training session.
More than 200 agents from Australasia have been notified they are in the running for a place on Supertour.
The final announcement will be made in June, with winners chosen based on 2014 sales of Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways tours.
Globus family of brands marketing manager Australasia Christian Schweitzer said: "Last year’s Fire and Ice Supertour to Hawaii and Alaska was a huge success and we’re hoping to top that this year in Japan."
Other recent Supertours have visited Morocco, Italy, Canada, Spain and Scandinavia.
