Sun shines over Newcastle
SYDNEY – P&O Cruises has blitzed travel agents across New South Wales to generate awareness of Pacific Sun’s first season out of Newcastle in 2010.
Over two weeks, more than more than 120 travel agents were visited in the state from the Central Coast to Coffs Harbour and as far west as Scone.
Travel agents received all the latest information, offers and promotional material for the season.
Don Clark, director of sales for P&O Cruises, said the agent blitz was a great way to spread the word about the upcoming season in Newcastle.
“It is the first time a P&O Cruises’ ship will be based out of Newcastle and we want everyone to know about it,†Clark said.
