Superbreak festive sales target

Superbreak is calling on agents to help it achieve a 20% growth on sales of festive breaks.

The operator said it was targeting sales of £1.5million on specific Christmas and New Year packages for 2010, a growth target of 20% on 2009, and expects “agents will play a key role in achieving this.”

As well as festive packages at over 460 hotels, Superbreak’s new Christmas and New Year Breaks brochure includes shopping breaks by rail, Christmas markets in the UK and overseas and gift ideas including activity experiences and entertainment breaks to concerts, theatre shows and pantomimes.

Superbreak national sales manager Graham Balmforth said agents should make the most of busy high streets at their traditionally quiet time.

“A little creative marketing and selling by an agent can mean they are attracting customers looking for pre-Christmas treats, shopping ideas and even Christmas gifts.”
