Superbreak sales director announces retirement
Superbreak sales director Ian Mounser is to retire after 22 years with the company.
He will leave on April 29 but will continue to work on a consultancy basis for a number of months afterwards.
Mounser said: “I know that I will be leaving an outstanding sales management team behind and I have every confidence that they will continue to provide a great service for travel trade sales, which remains a vital part of our business.
"The travel industry is very much about people, both colleagues and contacts, many of whom I regard as good friends, so inevitably it is this aspect that I will miss the most.
"It is my hope to involve myself in some management training and consultancy projects, both within and outside the travel industry, which may keep me in touch with the industry. Superbreak has been great for me, and to me, and I wish it every future success.’’
Eamonn Ferrin, managing director of Holidaybreak Plc’s Hotel Breaks Division, of which Superbreak is a part, added: “I would naturally like to take this opportunity, on behalf of everyone at Superbreak, both past and present, to thank Ian for his significant contribution to the growth and success of the Superbreak business over the past two decades. I wish Ian every happiness and success with his future plans.”
