Supercity Aparthotels appoints head of marketing
Supercity Aparthotels has appointed Ernest Opoku in the newly-created role of group head of marketing.
Based in the central Clerkenwell offices, he joins as the apartment specialist prepares to double its portfolio to six properties, going from 99 suites to 276 in the next 12 months.
Opoku formerly worked for Generator Hostels and has previous marketing experience in health and leisure, hospitality and the restaurant industry.
"He will manage our marketing, social platforms and website, supporting our existing aparthotels, whilst creating awareness for our three new openings this year in Brighton, London and Manchester," said Supercity Aparthotels MD Dean Madge.
"Ernest’s experience in fast-paced environments and proven track record managing and implementing marketing activity for new openings and brand initiatives will ensure he is a valuable asset as Supercity Aparthotels take the next steps in their growth."
