SuperStar Gemini adds more 21-night sailings
A report in Seatrade Insider says that Singapore-based SuperStar Gemini will offer an increased total of six 21-night South China Sea itineraries in addition to shorter options for the new season commencing in April.
Star Cruises said the program is in response to the popularity of last year’s longer sailings, with the ship particularly drawing Australasian and European customers.
The new season includes 7, 10, 11 and 21 night voyages to more than 10 destinations across Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong.
The 21-night sailings call at Ko Samui and Bangkok in Thailand, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Halong Bay and Nha Trang in Vietnam and Kota Kinabalu and Kuching in East Malaysia.
Incorporated within the itineraries are options for a 10-night Singapore to Hong Kong segment or an 11-night Hong Kong to Singapore cruise with six departures each.
Overnights in Halong Bay with an option to visit Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket feature as part of the 21-night itineraries.
The seven-night cruises from Singapore will call at Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Penang and Langkawi Island in Malaysia and Krabi and Phuket in Thailand.
