In the South West UK more and more tourism businesses are becoming aware of the devastation that climate change can wreak on their livelihoods:

"Storms, sea-level rises, flash floods, heavier rainfall, coastal erosion, and higher summer temperatures … the increase in occurrence and intensity of extreme weather events will have a huge impact on our tourism industry”

Changing Climate – Changing Business is intended as a guide to tourism businesses in the South West of England as to what effects climate change may have and how to structure their business plans.

The video which has been narrated by local broadcaster Adam Hart-Davis, features 11 tourism case studies showing how tourism businesses in the South West are being affected by climate change and highlighting the practical actions that they are taking to adapt. The DVD includes top tips on how to identify the potential risks and acts as a useful guide to help plan and adapt for the changes ahead.
