Swiss-Belhotel planning big expansion in Vietnam
Swiss-Belhotel has unveiled plans for an ambitious expansion across Vietnam.
It hopes to open at least 10 new hotels and resorts over the next three-to-four years.
Locations include Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong and Danang, as well as beach destinations Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon and Van Phong.
It marks a big expansion for the company, which has just one hotel currently open in the country.
That is the Swiss-Belresort Tuyen Lam in the Central Highlands, as well as two more upcoming launches, the Swiss-Belhotel Suites & Residences Ha Long Bay, which opens later this year and Swiss-Belresort Bai Dai Phu Quoc in 2022.
"Vietnam is one of the world’s most dynamic tourism destinations. Swiss-Belhotel International is perfectly positioned to meet this rising demand in all sectors of the market," said Edward Faull, Swiss-Belhotel International’s vice president of operations & development – Vietnam.
The group hopes to increase its total portfolio to 250 properties and 25,000 rooms by the end of 2020.
