Sydney Olympic ParkTourism Product Expression of Interest closes next week

Friday, 04 Dec, 2007 0

With Sydney Olympic Park Authority seeking expressions of interest to broaden the range of tourism and leisure product in the Park, Andrew Greenaway, Tourism Business Development for the Sydney Olympic Park Authority told The Mole today that the response to date to the EOI,  which is closing on December 14 had been very encouraging indeed.

He added, “We have had interest from a range of operators, generally from the larger end of the business, but at the same time we are keen to attract interest from smaller operators with smaller and even perhaps more niche product.

He added that that nobody should be concerned about expressing an interest and that SOPA was happy to receive responses form all sorts of tourism operators, large, medium, or small.

He also said that SOPA was also keen to explore tourism and leisure product that may or may not be connected to sport as the Park has a broad appeal, incorporating a range of non sporting areas activity.

Details of the EOI, which closes on December 14 can be obtained from www.sydneyolympicpark.com.au/eoi and anyone with any questions can contact Andrew on 02 9714 7926 or 0439 661 609 or by email on [email protected].
