TAG creates ‘challenging’ new role
Ruth Hilton has been appointed to the new position of head of commercial UK for travel and event management company TAG.
Hilton joined the group in November 2018 as a consultant heading up Private Travel, TAG’s leisure division.
In this new role, she will also oversee the UK’s supplier relations, fares desk, corporate sales and marketing teams.
Hilton will continue to be based in Manchester and report to Jodie Edwards-Locke, TAG’s managing director UK.
"Since joining TAG, it was clear that Ruth’s experience and knowledge were going to be an asset to the team," said Edwards-Locke.
"Ruth has done an outstanding job restructuring Private Travel, and I was confident she was the right person to take on this challenging new role at TAG. She has been a key part of our success, and I’m thrilled to promote her into this important position."
