Tahiti flights boost
Air Tahiti Nui will increase its Tahiti flights to three weekly services as part of a global overhaul to give Australian travellers better access to the destination.
From December, the airline will add a Tuesday service to its existing Thursday and Sunday flights from Auckland to Papeete linking up with direct codeshare connections from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Additional flights have previously been added during peak season but Air Tahiti Nui general manager New Zealand and Australia, Mark Hutchinson, said this increase in frequency provided Australians with better year-round options to Tahiti.
