Take the night train to Budapest

Wednesday, 08 Oct, 2012 0

Hungarian night trains are now easier to book, says Rail Europe.

Popular rail routes, including Budapest to Munich, Berlin to Vienna and Berlin to Budapest, been made more accessible for booking, and fares are lower than previously offered, in some cases up to 30%, and include seat/berth reservations.

Rail Europe warns that advance bookings are essential as the fares are increasingly popular.

There are three classes offered on the Hungarian Night Trains, including the sleeper with single, double or triple cabins, couchettes with six beds per compartment and second class seats which recline.

Rail Europe tickets are distributed by Rail Plus, Rail Tickets, CIT Holidays and Infinity Rail in Australia, and Rail Plus and Go Holidays in New Zealand.
