TAP reopens flights amid hopes of strike cancellation
TAP Portugal has reopened flights for later this week in the belief the strike may be suspended.
The Portuguese carrier had suspended all flights between March 21 and 23.
Staff had planned to strike adding to growing protests against budget, pay and job cuts in the bailed out eurozone country.
But following a meeting with unions, TAP believes that the strike may be suspended in the next few days, enabling a regular operation between those dates.
