Technology suppliers forge joint marketing deal
Travel technology providers Dolphin Dynamics and Ramesys are to join forces.
The companies have agreed to integrate their respective systems through a joint marketing agreement.
It will see the travel agency systems Dolphin FlightScanner and Ramesys internet holiday and charter flight booking tool SABS working together to offer an enhanced service, the two companies claimed.
Dolphin Dynamics will provide Ramesys with access to FlightScanner’s data services, enabling low cost carriers and web fares to be offered to SABS users.
Ramesys will offer a customised version of SABS for resale under the Dolphin brand. This will enable Dolphin to offer an advanced viewdata package holiday booking technology to its customers.
A link between the two systems will give FlightScanner agents the ability to also search for charter flights from a single screen alongside web, GDS and net fares.
Ramesys general manager Brian Sheerin said: “This is part of our overall strategy to bring suppliers together and simplify the buying process for agents. For too long agents have had to deal with four or five companies to obtain the basic products they require; this agreement makes both the purchase of products and the ongoing support a lot easier and keeps costs down.”
Dolphin Dynamics president Roberto Da Re said: “By bringing FlightScanner and SABS closet together we have been able to enhance each others offering. We can now give clients the ability to choose the product that best suits their needs and still have access to the full range of data.”
