Teletext launches travel insurance
Teletext Holidays has launched a range of branded travel insurance products bookable online and through its TV services.
It has joined forces with Citybond Suretravel and Mondial Assistance to offer customers a range of insurance options.
Teletext Holidays managing director Matt Cheevers said: “Travel insurance is generally the last of the holiday essentials to be booked before heading off overseas, but we hope now that we are able to offer this service to our customers they will arrange their travel insurance at the time of booking their trip.â€
Cover for a three day European single trip starts from £5.62 per person, with annual multi-trip cover priced from £33.15 per person.
Both the single and annual multi-trip products are available to customers aged up to 85 years, and include, as standard, cover for business travel, double booking, traffic delays and cancellation of music or sporting events.
