Teletext’s website has been re-designed to offer a wider range of holiday deals online.

The overall amount of advertising on the teletextholidays.co.uk site has been reduced to provide a cleaner and simpler look.

The number of categories has also been cut from 16 to five – Holidays, Flights, Hotels, Cars & Extras and Guides, Videos & Ideas.

Signposting for content such as video destination guides feature alongside editorial destination guides giving details on popular holiday spots is also prominent.

Information on advertisers is now clearly visible throughout the site, with customers able to access the details with one click of the mouse.

Commercial director – online Matt Cheevers said: said: “The re-designed site now incorporates changes that impact on its whole look and feel, along with its functionality, offering easier navigation, increased product availability and a more refined holiday search so that customers can find the perfect holiday quickly.

“These enhancements will significantly improve the customer experience, having a direct impact for our advertisers in the form of higher conversion rates.”
