Tempo Holidays “sharp” with London hotels
An expanded range of hotels and apartments in London leads the highlights of Tempo Holidays’ 2007 Britain-Ireland brochure being distributed this week.
Product Manager, Nigel Loveday said as well as offering over 60 accommodation properties in London covering 2-5 star markets, Tempo was presenting “the sharpest” rates in London accommodation.
“While England’s regions, Scotland, Wales and Ireland were to be explored, time in London is still a key to UK trips so we have broadened the choice of hotels there and created very keen pricing,” he said.
Among the new hotels are London Hilton on Hyde Park, Hilton London Green Park and Hilton London Hyde Park, Millennium Baileys, Sherlock Holmes, Central Park, New Linden and Westminster. Hotels at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports have been added too.
The Tempo Holidays program also features hotels across Britain and Ireland, extended touring, day tours, sightseeing, car hire, rail (Eurostar day trips to Paris, Royal Scotsman, Venice Simplon-Orient Express), and special packages.
New special packages include three nights luxury golfing in Scotland (from $615 pp twin share), two nights hotel and tickets to Premier League football in London and major provincial cities (from $882 pp twin share), day tours with private viewings from London, two-nights Edinburgh Military Tattoo staying at 4 star rural properties, 12-days Irish Classic coach tour featuring the Republic and Northern Ireland (from $940 pp twin share), and two-night packages in Wales (from $370 pp twin share).
Themed small coach tours of up to 17 passengers with guide to off-the-tourist path destinations have been added along with a 14 day/13 night coach British and Irish Grandeur coach tour (from $3475 pp twin share) which includes first class hotels and distinctive rural properties.
Mr Loveday said he was expecting solid support for a new First Class return Eurostar day tour to Paris (from $656 pp) which includes breakfast and dinner on the train, champagne and lunch at Altitude 95 (restaurant on the Eiffel Tower), Seine cruise and panoramic city tour.
