Terror alert update: Easyjet cancels some London flights
EasyJet intends to fly its full programme today from regional airports today but limited services from London airports.
It has cancelled flights from London airports to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Inverness, Paris, Geneva and Amsterdam.
For flights that are operating, an Easyjet spokesman said: “We are working on the assumption that the same levels of hand-baggage scrutiny will continue tomorrow, but we are working to minimise the impact.
“In order to keep airport disruption to a minimum, we will be opening our check-in desks three hours before scheduled departure time and we are asking people to check-in as early as possible for their flights.”
Easyjet said it would be closing check-in 30 minutes before departure without exception.
