Texas eyes Brits with new campaign
Texas Tourism has launched a marketing offensive on the British public this week, attempting to show how there is more than cowboys and rodeos to the Lone Star State.
The campaign partners with well known UK brands associated with areas it would like to be linked with.
To highlight the state’s potential for adventure and outdoor activity, it has partnered with Berghaus and exhibited at the Outdoor Show exhibition.
To underline its musical, filmic and cultural associations, it ran editorial on AOL’s websites and to promote its good food, advertorials were placed in the Jamie Oliver Magazine and content on his website with Texas-themed recipes.
