Thai’d and tested holidays with Creative
Creative Holidays has launched its most extensive selection of Thailand accommodation, sightseeing and Mini Stay options ever, ensuring agents have the best options and ideas to offer clients in 2007.
Creative Holidays’ 2007/2008 Thailand brochure covers Bangkok, Phuket, Khao Lak, Phi Phi Island, Krabi, Koh Lanta, Trang, Koh Samui, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Northern Thailand. As well as an expanded product range incorporating new hotels, more pool villas and villa accommodation suited to honeymooners and families, the program includes unique new experiences such as sea canoeing, jungle trekking, cooking classes and wedding packages.
The expanded product range, agent friendly pricing and layout mean the brochure is a one-stop-shop for consultants looking for the right holiday for their clients.
Andrew Yell, GM Sales, Marketing and Product, Creative Holidays said, “In 2005 we launched our first dedicated Thailand brochure into the market and since then demand has continued to increase, and in response, so has our product range and variety. Last year we experienced a huge increase in sales to the region.
“Due to continued demand in the market this year we have included more hotels across the board, as well as a wider selection of accommodation, including more villa accommodation to suit families. We have also increased our allotments to ensure we have sufficient stock to see this growth continue
“Thailand is still one of the best value and most exciting places to visit so close to Australia. Plus, there really is something for everyone. For example, this year we have launched an adventure Mini Stay departing Bangkok (three night Bangkok Adventure) which takes travellers to the tropical jungles of the River Kwai area uncovering the sometimes dark history of Kanchanaburi, as well as a visit to a remote forest temple where monks live in close contact with tigers and other wild animals. In addition, for the first time, we have also included Thai the Knot wedding packages, cooking schools and more.
“We expect all areas of Thailand to perform well in the market in 2007, particularly as it appeals to such a diverse range of travellers. We predict private pool villas to sell very well this year and are looking forward to seeing the developing areas of Koh Lanta and Trang become exciting new and popular destinations for Aussie travellers.
“Due to continued high demand we recommend agents book early for peak times, which are April, July, September, October, December and January. While we have very good levels of allotment at all our hotels, demand is still incredibly high.
“We also recommend consultants upgrade and up-sell to clients whenever they can as the difference between the price of accommodation half a star or one star greater is usually nominal, but can make all the difference to your clients’ experience.”
