Thailand offers tourist visa waiver for Indian travellers
Thailand will grant Indian travellers free tourist visa access to lure more arrivals ahead of the high season.
Indians along with Taiwanese tourists will get a waiver of the tourist visa fee from November 10 – May 10, 2024.
Thai government spokesperson Chai Wacharonke said they will be permitted to stay in Thailand for up to 30 days.
Thailand recently waived tourist visa requirements for China travelers – the country’s no 2 source market.
India is now Thailand’s fourth-largest source market and growing.
Thailand expects to up to 28 million international visitors by the end of the year.
